Cyprus Naturalization of Investors by Exception

The Naturalization of Investors by Exception Scheme was established under the subsection (2) of section 111A of the Civil Registry Laws of 2002-2015. The Scheme was set in 2013 to encourage foreign direct investment and attract high net worth individuals to relocate to Cyprus and establish their business activities in the country.

To be eligible, an individual must invest at least  EUR 2,000,000 in Cyprus Financial Assets, Businesses or Properties as well as purchasing real estate worth EUR 500,000. The application process takes approximately 6 months.

Cyprus Citizenship Financing Fast

Our lender will loan a total of EUR 2,000,000 to an EU bank account that we will open for you. From this bank account, you will have to invest that EUR 2,000,000 into the Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) in Cyprus. You will need to transfer EUR 500,000 to invest in a Cypriot property.

The property will be in your name and you must hold it indefinitely. Furthermore, the lender will be entitled to receive all rental income from the property for the first 9 years. After the end of the 9th year, you will earn the rental income for the first time.

The total all-in handling fee is EUR 318,000 plus EUR 500,000 to invest in a property.

By structuring it this way, you pay EUR 818,000 but get a property worth EUR 500,000 under your name. So, the real cost is only EUR 318,000 plus the lost rental income for the first 9 years.

Cyprus Citizenship Financing Light

You invest EUR 500,000 in 2 residential properties and hold them indefinitely. The all-in handling fee of EUR 500,000 covers all costs. You will be entitled to receive rental income from day 1.

Cash Outlay: EUR 500,000 (Property investment) + EUR 500,000 (All-in handling fee)

Bulgaria Immigrant Investor Program

The Bulgarian Immigrant Investor Program is established under the Foreigners in the Republic of Bulgaria Act and the Citizenship Act.

The program consists of 2 stages.

First, you must obtain a permanent residency permit under the Investor Visa. The procedure takes from 4 to 6 months. After one year, you can apply for citizenship by doubling the investment. Citizenship application may be completed in a maximum period of 6 months.

The first step – Obtaining a permanent residence permit
Invest EUR 512,000 in one of the following options:

  • shares of Bulgarian commercial corporations traded in a regulated Bulgarian market; or

  • bonds and treasury bills, as well as derivative instruments thereof, issued by the State or the municipalities.

The Second Step – Obtaining fast-track citizenship:

Invest another EUR 512,000 in bonds or equity.
